Here’s some video taken in the Organ Mountains National Monument that the Trump administration wants to reduce in size to allow mineral extraction.
These peaks dominate the horizon just east of Las Cruces and can be seen throughout the city. The steepest parts of the peaks are challenging but not technical.
This is the view on the approach road that circles around into a bowl shaped valley beginning in the east and then circling clockwise ending in the westward facing slope.
This is a view southeast. You can see White Sands in the distance at the beginning of the video. The art in between is a missile range.
